Presently, Fazzlijan Mohamed Adnan Khan is a Senior Lecturer at Institut Aminuddin Baki, Induk (IABI), Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM). She holds a B.Sc.Edu. Major in Biology (Hons) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), M.Ed. in Educational Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and PhD. in e-Learning from USM. Before joining IABI, she had experienced as a Senior Specialist at Training Programme Division, Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, Regional Centre for Education in Science and Mathematics (SEAMEO, RECSAM) Penang, Malaysia for three (3) yearsPrior to her secondment as a Senior Specialist at RECSAM, she has eleventh (11) years of teaching experience, working as a biology lecturer in Kolej Matrikulasi, KPM. Currently in RECSAM, she trains teachers and educators not only in content but also pedagogy and innovation. She focuses on helping teachers leverage technology innovations for their science classroom transformation. Her professional experience spans across the SEAMEO member countries where she has supervised numerous courses organised by the centre and several in-country course that focuses on inquiry-based science education and science process skills, integrating ICT tools in science education and 21st century teaching and learning for enhancing creativity and higher order thinking skills. She has published and presented many research articles in citation-indexed journals and peer reviewed proceedings internationally and locally. She has experience as an external reviewer for conference journals and proceedings at national and international levels. Her research interests lies in science teaching pedagogy and classroom innovation to uplift science achievement.

The duties and responsibilities shall include, inter alia, curriculum development, teaching, examining, invigilating and supervising academic activities of trainees and participants;

To include administrative duties related within and outside programmes, as RECSAM may from time to time require;

To pursue and conduct research, original investigations and publish results and investigations regarded as an important part of the duty and to contribute original articles to the various professional publications of the Centre;
